Linda H. Mastrangelo, Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist

Linda H. Mastrangelo, Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist Linda is a licensed holistic psychotherapist in private practice with offices in San Jose and Santa C Who am I now? Where do I go from here?

Whether it's the death of a loved one, a questioning of identity, a loss of job, relationship or home, family trauma or the natural transitions that come with the aging process; Grief can feel like being lost in a dark forest with no map. These questions can bring feelings of overwhelm, anxiety and hopelessness. But like the butterfly cocoon, grief is part of the natural cycle of life that offers

opportunity for growth, hope and profound transformation in the face of the complex mysteries of life. So how does one cope with loss? Because reaching out takes courage, I provide a safe and caring space for clients to explore and express complicated emotions in a nonjudgmental way. Our time together will also include tools such as psychoeducation about the grieving process, anxiety/sleep management, coping skills and self-care practices during these life changing transitions. My passion is working with dreams as they give us the map of where we were, where we are now and how to proceed. My clients have made fascinating discoveries through exploring how their dreams not only reflect their own story of loss but offer guidance, wisdom and hope. Because dreams can go to the core of issues, I use a gentle approach and encourage clients to explore at their own pace. I also use holistic, mindful and transpersonal practices that includes working with ancestral wounding, archetypal & depth work and expressive arts, tools that empower clients to be the hero of their own story. By making more mindful changes and tapping into personal wisdom and strengths, I have witnessed powerful and sustainable transformations.

Dreams have long been a doorway between worldsโ€”a place where memory, spirit, and lineage meet. In this experiential workshop, we explore dreaming as a living relationship with our ancestors, both known and unknown.

Together, weโ€™ll learn how ancestral presence can emerge through dreams, symbols, and night visions, offering guidance, healing, and connection across time. Through gentle ritual, guided reflection, and dream-sharing practices, participants will be invited to deepen their relationship with their own ancestral line while honoring cultural diversity and personal boundaries.

This workshop welcomes all backgrounds and belief systems. You do not need to know your ancestry or have vivid dreams to participateโ€”only curiosity and respect for the wisdom that moves through us.

Thank you Nina Fry Kizler and Institute of Noetic Sciences for honoring the powerful bridge between grief and dreams within the noetic fieldโ€”especially through psychopompic experiences and the study of consciousness. This work has been near and dear to my heart for many years, so Iโ€™m deeply grateful to see it held within these spaces of sacred dialogue and exploration. ๐Ÿ™โค๏ธโ€๐Ÿ”ฅโœจ

As we move into the longer nights not only are we experiencing more dreams, we may also likely be having what we call Visitation Dreams - the dreams with the ones who passed. As a grief therapist, Iโ€™ve shared many of these dreams with my clients - they can be quite powerful and sometimes painful but I always like to hold the opportunity for profound healing โœจ

by Linda H. Mastrangelo, MA, LMFT Over the years, many of my clients have shared that they have had dreams or visions of their loved one who died.
