Whether it's the death of a loved one, a questioning of identity, a loss of job, relationship or home, family trauma or the natural transitions that come with the aging process; Grief can feel like being lost in a dark forest with no map. These questions can bring feelings of overwhelm, anxiety and hopelessness. But like the butterfly cocoon, grief is part of the natural cycle of life that offers
opportunity for growth, hope and profound transformation in the face of the complex mysteries of life. So how does one cope with loss? Because reaching out takes courage, I provide a safe and caring space for clients to explore and express complicated emotions in a nonjudgmental way. Our time together will also include tools such as psychoeducation about the grieving process, anxiety/sleep management, coping skills and self-care practices during these life changing transitions. My passion is working with dreams as they give us the map of where we were, where we are now and how to proceed. My clients have made fascinating discoveries through exploring how their dreams not only reflect their own story of loss but offer guidance, wisdom and hope. Because dreams can go to the core of issues, I use a gentle approach and encourage clients to explore at their own pace. I also use holistic, mindful and transpersonal practices that includes working with ancestral wounding, archetypal & depth work and expressive arts, tools that empower clients to be the hero of their own story. By making more mindful changes and tapping into personal wisdom and strengths, I have witnessed powerful and sustainable transformations.
