📣We have a SUPPLY of Beyfortus Immunization. We are already seeing RSV. If you want your baby protected for the holidays, please call today to schedule an appointment.

✅RSV is a virus that can cause severe lower respiratory tract infection in young children.

✅RSV season runs from October to April each year. RSV usually is on the rise in early Spring.

✅The immunization is approved for infants 8mo and younger during the RSV season.

✅Children over 8mo can get it if they have a chronic illness, heart disease, severe prematurity, etc. Call to ask if your child is eligible.

✅Beyfortus is an antibody, so it provides your baby with IMMEDIATE immunity to RSV.

✅The protection lasts 5months and it has shown to reduce hospitalizations by 95%!!!!!

This is our 3rd year offering this and we have seen a significant improvement in children with RSV.

Unfortunately , RSV season has started.

We do however offer the Beyfortus Immunization to help protect your baby!!

What is Beyfortus❓

Beyfortus is not a vaccine or maternal immunization. Beyfortus is an RSV F protein-directed fusion inhibitor monoclonal antibody indicated for the prevention of RSV lower respiratory tract disease—directly administered to the infant as well as eligible children via IM injection. This does not require an immune response from the infant.¹ This immunization may not prevent the child from getting RSV but it can prevent the child from developing a severe case of RSV.

Beyfortus was approved by the FDA July 2023.

❓Who is eligible?

Neonates and infants born during or entering their first RSV season. Usually, these patients are 8 mo or younger.

👼Children up to 24 months of age who remain vulnerable to severe RSV disease through their second season. Such as patients with chronic lung or heart disease.
