Hey everyone! We know in a lot of areas our neighbors are hurting and struggling due to the widespread flooding. We’ll be trying to bring together some donations here to get it to any affected areas over the coming days and weeks. Here are some items that we will be accepting for anyone who feels called to help out. Thank you all for being such a wonderful and supportive community!

Hello Campton! With the weather getting pretty dicey we are going to try to open on a limited schedule today. We won’t be in exactly at 8, please give us a call before getting out, and will probably close around noon. We will monitor road conditions and adjust accordingly. Everyone stay safe!

Given how nasty it already is outside and given the forecast may only look worse as me move on today and tonight into tomorrow, as of now I expect Med Save Wolfe to be closed tomorrow for the safety of our staff AND our patients. I want to get the message out now in case (and hopefully not) some of us lose power.

In the event road conditions are better we may revise and try to come in on some sort of abbreviated snow schedule but if that’s the case we will update here on this page.

Dave’s boys both have baseball tournament championship games in Wi******er tonight, we will be closing at 5 today so he can go cheer on the Rockies and the Yankees!

Looks like as of now we are going to close up today at 3 and hunker down. Transparently I want to get back to Clark County and be with my family in the event we get it earlier there than here. We will be here 9-1 tomorrow, 3/4, for anyone who isn’t able to get out and pick up beforehand. We will have to cancel deliveries for the night to keep our driver safe as well.

Everyone please stay safe this afternoon. It’s not normal we’d look at closing early due to thunderstorms but we appear to be in the crosshairs of a volatile weather situation. I’m going to monitor the weather as the day progresses and if necessary we will close early and suspend delivery service for the safety of our staff.
We WILL be open until early afternoon tomorrow if anyone isn’t able to get out and pick up today due to a possible short business day. Stay posted and if we need to update I’ll update here.

Hey everyone! We want to let everyone know that with Christmas falling on a Sunday this year we will plan on being closed for the holiday Friday, December 23 for our amazing staff to have a day to celebrate with their families. We will be open normal business hours picking back up Monday 12/26. Thank you so much for all your support Wolfe County and we love you! Merry Christmas!

Hey sports fans, Dave here. Have a wedding to go to tonight so I can’t use our season football tickets. If anyone wants to take the fam to the UK football game tonight pop by the store and we will try and figure out how to do the mobile ticket transfer together. Tix free to anyone who will enjoy them! Four seats together.

If you have donations for flood relief, you can drop with us and we will route to the appropriate channels. If you need cleaning supplies, baby formula, diapers, etc...come see us. We have some and they are yours. If you need food we have Save-a-Lot gift cards. They are yours. Come see us and let’s get through this together. We love you all!

OUR SUCCESS STORY

Wolfe Family Pharmacy has been serving our community for nearly 7 years, and we couldn’t be happier to have recently welcomed a new pharmacist-in-charge.

Dave Ruth is a 2007 graduate of the University of Kentucky College of Pharmacy, as well as a 2003 graduate of Eastern Kentucky University. His passion for the pharmacy profession was ignited nearly twenty years ago when he got his first technician job at a pharmacy in his hometown of Elkhorn City in Pike County. While he currently resides with his wife Taylor and son Brooks (with another on the way) in Clark County, he considers Campton to be another adopted home because of how well the community has treated them.

In his off time, he helps Taylor with her real estate business and runs Faith Pharmacy, a charity pharmacy located in downtown Lexington, where he also sits on the board of directors. The Ruths have a passion for cooking, Kentucky sports, and – perhaps above all – travel. You can visit them and learn more about their home life at wanderingwiththeruths.com.
