I am sorry to announce that we have enough money in the Cemetery Fund for 2 more mowing services. I have the Cemetery mowed once a month. So this will cover July and August. After this the account will be closed and it will be up to each family to tend to their own loved ones grave sight due to lack of interest and help participating to the graveyard fund. That is all.

Hello everyone. It has been a minute since I have posted anything. A little update. We have received some donations, and I am so very blessed. Thank You so much, every little bit helps. We have had a couple trees removed from the Cemetery, and it opened things up a lot. It looks great. Thank you to whomever had it done and to you that did it. It looks amazing!

As far as the upcoming holiday, Labor Day, we have someone scheduled to mowe the Cemetery sometime during the week before. So it will be looking nice. I encourage everyone who can come and visit. The Cemetery is looking great!

ROSE BEND CEMETERY

This is to all of the family and friends of our loved ones who have been laid to rest in the Rose Bend Cemetery.
I have been nominated/elected to be the overseer/caretaker of, our family's final resting place, the Rose Bend Cemetery. I count an honor and privilege to be trusted with this task. It is no easy task, as you can imagine, to make sure that all of our families loved ones final resting place is cared for with the utmost respect to our dearly departed.
This task does not come lightly and it comes with an expense as well. Everything that I do, I do for free and I will do so as long as I am overseeing the upkeep of our families final resting place. However it is not cheap to have the Cemetery mowed and trimmed of the weeds around of the grave markers, plants,and fencing.
This year we are going to be falling short of funds to upkeep the Cemetery grounds. The cheapest I have been able to find someone to do the mowing and trimming is $100+ each month and that is cheap.
When I was younger I took a summer of caring for the Cemetery, and believe me this is a bargain at its best. This job takes several hours to complete. Not to mention the use of the person's equipment, the expense of their fuel and oil used, and the expense of them coming out to our families Cemetery while pulling and/or hauling their equipment. I am humbly asking for your help and donations for the Rose Bend Cemetery Fund. Any little bit will help and go a long way.
I hope and pray I can continue to get this great price, but nothing is certain. I have gotten quotes from $100 up to the mid $200's per month. We all know that prices go up and down, mostly up.
If at anytime anyone ever has a concern of the expenditures, I would be more than happy to sit down over a cup of coffee and show our banking statements, this way no one need have any worries about the funds.
Again this is a request for help with funding the upkeep of the Rose Bend Cemetery. All donations will be greatly appreciated.
Regrettably when the funds run out and I can no longer pay for 'lawn care', it will be up to each individual family to care for their loved ones plot. I will continue to care for my families plot and the loved ones plot of those who have donated. I feel this is only fair. So if you have donated have now worries your families plot will be maintained and cared for with the utmost respect and love.
Please do not take that the wrong way. That is by no means a threat. It saddens me greatly to even need to put that in words BUT sadly it is a true statement.
