Our Story
Wolfe County Health Care Center is a 100-bed nursing facility located in the Southeastern Kentucky town of Campton. We provide many services including 24-hour nursing, physician, radiology, laboratory and pharmacy services. We also offer Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapy. Our rural country setting, located in the “Naturally Gorgeous” Natural Bridge/Red River Gorge area of Kentucky, enhances the home-like atmosphere for our residents. Our facility features a library, private chapel, secure courtyard, private room options, a beauty parlor, and a physician’s lounge. Each large room has a private bathroom. The recreation areas are spacious. The private courtyard is accessible from our common areas. Our well-equipped rehabilitation facility is fully staffed, features all new equipment and offers both inpatient and outpatient rehabilitative care. Our facility offers 24-hour nursing care, physicians, pharmaceutical services, lab services, along with speech, physical and occupational therapies. We also feature special menus and diets, created and monitored carefully by a Registered Dietitian. Whether you and your family’s medical advisers are evaluating a short-term rehabilitative and recuperative stay for a family member or loved one, or the prospect of long-term care, we invite you to call today to schedule a tour. Wolfe County Health and Rehabilitation Center offers a variety of engaging daily activities to reflect residents’ interests. These activities are designed to help give our residents the opportunity to not only maintain but improve their quality of life. We feature a beautiful lobby area and quaint, cozy day-rooms for families and residents to visit or have activities together such as birthday parties. Residents and families can also enjoy a cozy front porch with ceiling fans for southern comfort or the garden areas where we host cookouts during summer months. Wolfe County Health and Rehabilitation Center offers phone and cable connections in each room, electronic security, individual heating and air units, private and semi-private rooms, the Wanderguard System, and Hospice services.
