Review of December 2024.

Canaan EMS responded to 50 calls for service.

Interfacility Transfers - 36

We received mutual aid from Enfield and Lebanon multiple times due to no or little ambulance staffing, and we thank them greatly for their assistance.

Review of November 2024.

Canaan EMS responded to 38 calls for service in November.

There were three sporting events at Mascoma High School and the new ambulance completed 20 interfacility transfers.

We received mutual aid for 7 emergency calls. This is due to inadequate staffing or unavailability of personnel to staff our own ambulances. We thank Enfield Fast Squad, Grafton Ambulance, Lebanon Fire Department, and Warren-Wentworth Ambulance for their assistance during the past month.

There were 14 sporting events covered at Mascoma High School and one Motocross event.
There were 14 interfacility transfers.

Today we placed in service our new 2024 Ford Wheeled Coach ambulance. This will primarily be used for interfacility transfers but will be used for emergency calls if needed.

Our condolences to Linda's family and friends. Linda was a dedicated member of Canaan FAST Squad for many years and she will be missed.
