Geer Residents and Staff were grateful to be a part of a special ceremony for one of our own. Violet Kyes was first recognized by the 👩‍⚕️CT Nurse Honor Guard for her years of nursing care. She then was honored by Athena Hospice for her years in the US Navy. Pumpkin pie was served (Violet’s favorite) in her honor. Another amazing fact: Violet is about to turn 100 years old!

The Residents and Staff at Geer Nursing had a great time at their first Trunk or Treat on Halloween. Some Staff decorated their cars, while others decorated pumpkins. Everyone dressed up and the Residents had fun judging their favorites!
