🌞 MCFG Summer Camp is in Full Swing — and It’s a Blast! 🌿

Our days are filled with laughter, art, forest adventures, creek swims, and so much joyful, carefree learning. Kids explore the natural world, create from the heart, and connect with one another in a beautiful, screen-free environment.

At MCFG Summer Camp, children of mixed ages learn side by side, immersed in Spanish language, surrounded by acres of forest and a crystal-clear mountain creek.

It’s not just a camp — it’s the best place to be a kid. 💚

What a Huge success MCFG Lemon 🍋 stand was last night! 🥳Thank you to our community for coming to support, parents for volunteering & children for working so beautifully together! A special visit from Senator Brown and children showing her how to use Bitcoin for payments was so special. Come back on Saturdays 12:30-1:30pm during summer to support.

Yesterday, we celebrated the end of an incredible school year at MCFG! 🌿✨ It was a beautiful day filled with heartfelt performances, a stunning art show, certificates of completion, and so much love.

We are beyond grateful for our amazing children, our dedicated and inspiring teachers, and the incredible community we’ve built together. Thank you for being part of this journey — here’s to all we’ve accomplished and all that lies ahead! 💚

Another wonderful guest joined our Community Helper Program —Ms. Magena, Club Scout Master and Girl Scout Leader! Despite the rain, we brought the spirit of the outdoors inside and had the most amazing time learning all about camping skills and fire safety.

Ms. Magena shared how to prepare for outdoor adventures, the importance of respecting nature, and how to stay safe around campfires. The kids were fully engaged—asking thoughtful questions, imagining their own camping trips, and learning real-life skills that build confidence and responsibility.

Thank you, Ms. Magena, for braving the weather and bringing so much heart and wisdom to our day!

At MCFG, our little farmers have been busy hatching and caring for baby chicks—an experience full of wonder, responsibility, and hands-on learning! From observing the life cycle unfold, to gently feeding, cleaning, and handling the chicks, our children are learning daily lessons in patience, empathy, and the rhythms of nature.

Watching the chicks grow has sparked so much curiosity and care—and we’re excited to share that we’re planning to expand these experiences even more with an animal barn coming this summer! This new space will take our farm-based learning to a whole new level, deepening the kids’ connection to animals, land, and meaningful work.

Community Helper Spotlight at MCFG!

Today we had another amazing visitor as part of our Community Helper Program—Officer Matt and his K9 partner Creed from the Mount Pocono Regional Police Department! The children were fascinated to learn about the important work police officers do to keep communities safe, and they especially loved meeting Creed, who helps with search and rescue and protects Officer Matt on duty.

The visit sparked great conversations about safety, responsibility, and the special bond between working dogs and their handlers. Thank you, Officer Matt and K9 Creed, for inspiring our kids and showing them what it means to serve with courage and care!

MCFG Summer Camp Update!
Summer at MCFG is all about sunshine, nature, and joyful learning! Our Montessori-based, nature-inspired, child-led camp is designed for kids ages 4–7 and offers Spanish immersion with up to 80% of the day spent outside in a beautiful forest setting. We’re offering three sessions—June, July, and August—with flexible 2, 3, or 5-day-per-week options. June is already sold out, but spots are still available for July and August—come join the adventure!
