🧺Laundry Day Recipes 🧺

🌿DIY Scent Boosters🌿
1 and 1/2 cups Epsom salt
1/2 cup baking soda
20-30 drops of essential oil
Mix ingredients and let sit 15 minutes to dry, then store in a mason jar. Add 1/4 cup per load.

🌿DIY Stain Stick🌿
Fill 30ml roller with 1/2 thieves laundry detergent and other 1/2 with Thieves cleaner. Add 10 drops of lemon essential oil. Apply to stains before washing.

🌿Double that Thieves Detergent🌿
Empty 1/2 Thieves laundry detergent into a glass jar or empty detergent bottle. Add 2 capfuls of Thieves cleaner and fill rest of jug with water. (Optional: add 10 drops of purification or lemon) Shake and use as normal.

🌱Washing Machine Cleaner🌿
Add 1 cup white distilled vinegar and 1 capful of Thieves cleaner to the liquid detergent slot. Select “clean washer” cycle. If you don’t have this cycle then run a “hot wash cycle”. Pause before “rinse” cycle and clean the inner ring with Thieves spray and cleaning cloth. Next add 1 cup white distilled vinegar and 1/2 cup baking soda separately to the tub of water of water and resume cycle to finish.

🌿Wool dryer balls🌿
Use instead of toxic fabric softener sheets. Add to dryer with clothes to increase movement of laundry and thus cut down on drying times and energy use 🙌🏼. The more balls in the dryer the better! Add 3 drops of your choice of essential oil to each ball to freshen laundry. I like lavender for bedsheets and citrus fresh, sacred mountain, cinnamon bark, Christmas spirit, thieves, purification, basil or lavender for my towels and clothes. ☺️ Attach safety pin to one dryer ball to cut down on static. If your clothes are still staticky then you are over drying your clothes! Turn down the dryer temperature.
