🎧 Today is World Listening Day! 🧠👂
Let’s take a moment to appreciate the power of listening — not just to sounds, but to understanding, connection, and healing.

In speech-language therapy, listening is the foundation for:

👶 Language development in children

🧏 Support for individuals with hearing loss or auditory processing challenges

💬 Effective communication through better attention and comprehension

🗣️ Self-awareness and control in voice, fluency, and articulation therapy

🎶 Whether it’s learning to process speech sounds, using a hearing aid, or simply improving focus in conversation — listening matters.

Occupational Therapists also help clients manage sound sensitivity, sensory processing, and regulation.

Physical Therapists may use rhythm and auditory cues for movement, balance, and gait training.

So today, let’s truly listen — to sounds, to each other, and to the small wins in every therapy journey. 🌍❤️
