On March 4th the College Experience participants at Hobart and William Smith we were proud to stand alongside Allie, President of the Best Buddies HWS Chapter, and Hobart and William Smith staff members while they signed their pledge for Spread the Word: Inclusion Day.

Spread the Word Inclusion Day is a national movement dedicated to promoting respect, dignity, and meaningful inclusion for people of all abilities. It’s about more than just words — it’s about action. It’s a commitment to building communities where everyone belongs, everyone is valued, and everyone has a voice.

It is our pleasure to introduce the Emcee for this year’s Winter Wine Mixer: Meghan Palumbo. With her expertise and energy, she is sure to make the evening unforgettable. Please read more about her background below.

Megan's childhood dream was to become a cast member on Saturday Night Live. Upon graduating high school, she did absolutely nothing to achieve that dream. Instead, she studied journalism and communications and became a reporter at WROC-TV/News 8. She went on to serve in roles at Highland Hospital and The Center for Youth, helping to secure funding for youth in crisis. Today, she is Director of Value Creation at Press Ganey, where she focuses on improving health care nationwide. While Meghan feels she has aged out of her SNL ambitions, she gladly accepts any invitation to pick up a microphone to emcee and support the community where she and her husband are raising their three sons.
