On Friday, August 29th, we celebrated a huge milestone as our beloved participant, David, turned 90 years young! His birthday party, hosted in the Pathways area at our main facility, was filled with smiles and laughter. The event featured dancing, cake, a special visit from Elvis, and many friends who sang songs and shared kind words for David on his special day.

A blast was had by all as we brought the beach to the Eberhardt Center in late August! The beautiful, sunny weather was the perfect backdrop for a morning filled with upbeat music, bubble art, yard games, dancing, and ice cream. It was a truly therapeutic and joyful time for everyone involved!

The folks at our Eberhardt Center have been busy at work in our community garden!

To celebrate their hard work, we hosted a free cooking class to turn their fresh harvest into a healthy meal. The group worked together to create a delicious dish of bowtie pasta with zucchini sauce and roasted vegetables, all made with produce grown right here in our Community Growers Garden.

It was a great day of learning new skills and enjoying the fruits of their labor!

SCHEDULE
Full-time | Monday - Friday 7:30 am - 3:30 pm | Flexibility in schedule required to meet agency needs

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performs a variety of staff management functions, including, but not limited to, recruitment, orientation and training, direct supervision, scheduling, performance evaluation, etc. Meets regularly with staff under direct supervision to discuss performance, service delivery and program planning.
- Responsible for ongoing supervision of staff associated with Day Hab ensuring services are delivered efficiently and to the satisfaction of the participant.
- Works closely with other management staff in overseeing the individual program planning process, including maintenance of records, to ensure appropriate provision of service and financial compliance. Ensures that plans and services are individualized, and designed to promote independence, integration and productivity, working closely with individuals, staff and other service providers. Attends team meetings, as needed.

Our College Experience Program, along with the amazing JET program, have been rolling up their sleeves at the Gleaners Community Kitchen Garden! While learning important job readiness skills, they’ve also been digging into the world of gardening—planting, watering, and harvesting fresh produce.

The best part? Their hard work is helping provide fresh, healthy ingredients for the lunch program, showing that learning and giving back can go hand in hand. From teamwork to responsibility, we are cultivating more than just vegetables—they’re growing confidence, skills, and community spirit.
