I am offering one space in my upcoming Menopause Yoga Therapy Group starting this Saturday for $5 per class (8 total) and $30 for the retreat day for a total of $70 due at registration. I was just watching CBS mornings and they had the creator or Toms shoes. He talked about how he sold his company and spiraled into a depression that made him want to take his own life. He found that being super successful in the world and in business was not enough to "heal the wounds inside." He found that once his "purpose" was gone he was forced to focus on his internal inadequacies and a feeling of not being enough.

As a society we focus on external success, but does that really fulfil us, does that really heal our wounds from a lifetime of being told we have to be (fill in the blank) in order to be worthy of love, kindness? Taking time to be present to these feelings of not being enough is key to being aware of them and how they show up in our lives. You may not be aware of them and how those false beliefs are holding you back. Take a minute sometime during your day and connect in. Feel what's there in your body, your mind, let it all be there and know that it's all ok. You don't have to be perfect; you don't have to be everything everyone wants you to be. YOU ARE ENOUGH JUST AS YOU ARE.

Next Saturday the yoga class for women in Peri-Menopause and Menopause begins at Crossbridge Wellness Affiliates, LLC.

It's 8 weeks with an additional 6-hour day for a focused retreat with yoga, meditation, movement and other activities meant to connect you with yourself and be in community.

Each weekly yoga class will focus on a theme meant to bring your awareness to different ways of being in your body and with the experience of menopause. How might it feel to Befriend your Body, to acknowledge the impact of choices and to connect with the Truth? Journal or draw your experience after the practice and then join in a sharing circle where you will have the opportunity to share any insights that arose from this experience. Maybe it's a word or a feeling that is shared or maybe a deep insight about yourself. No judgement, no expectations, just come as you are and be present to whatever you're holding.

It can be life changing to see things as they are without the veil of judgement and expectation. Start the New Year with a new perspective. Join me. Sign ups end 1/8. Weekly payments available or pay for the whole class at once.

Social isolation can be one of the most profound challenges in our time. Most people feel unseen and lonely as our society has moved more and more internally focused and people become more into their own routines and obligations.

When it comes to menopause, remaining socially connected is even more important as women who are connected have lower rates of anxiety and depression and reduced risk of cognitive decline. Connecting with other women during Menopause leads to a sense of well-being, feeling understood and a sense of belonging. Engaging with family and friends in your natural social circle and staying physically active are recommended for long term benefits but also being in the company of other women going through similar symptoms can put things in perspective.

Yoga for Menopause allows for improved symptom management, reduced stress, better sleep, improved relationships and mood regulation which also impacts hot flashes which can be triggered by stress and mood challenges.

This upcoming group is a chance to connect with other women who may be struggling in similar ways and to learn ways to use yoga to help with symptom management. Menopause can be overwhelming but it doesn't have to leave you feeling alone and without tools to cope.

Just under three weeks left to sign up for this transformational yoga class. This is not your typical yoga class. It brings together yoga movement and support for women experiencing the Menopause transition. Through gentle yoga we will explore the sensations of the body and how our body informs us. So often we fight against the changes in our bodies, feeling that they are taking over and we don't have control. What if you could tune into these feelings and examine them from a place of informed knowing? A place of wisdom? How might this allow us to change our response and our experience of Menopause?

Explore this, and more, in this 8-week two-hour class where we will do all of this and more.

Join a group of like-minded women struggling through their midlife and looking for connection with themselves and others. Menopause is a chance to transition, transform and grow.
