About us
Lakeside ENT & Allergy is an independent, privately-owned medical group that was originally founded in 1976 by Dr Eric Birken after moving to the Finger Lakes region of New York State and opening a solo practice. We are now comprised of eight providers—six board certified ENT specialists (otolaryngologists), an ENT nurse practitioner, and a board-certified Doctor of Audiology. Our MDs are board-certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology (ABOto). We provide medical and surgical treatment for pediatric and adult ENT conditions, head and neck tumors, skin cancers of the head and neck, otology or ear diseases, thyroid and parathyroid disorders, nasal disorders and sinus surgery, snoring and sleep apnea, and allergies, to name just a few. Lakeside ENT and Allergy has proudly provided ENT care to the Finger Lakes and Western NY for nearly 40 years.
