The baby goats were here this morning!!!! Maureen from Dandelion Acres came today with Leo and Lizzie. They are three week old boy and girl twins and were SO adorable! Many of our residents and staff took the opportunity to come and see them. Some didn’t want to hold the goats but most everyone got to pet one. This was a wonderful experience for us all! Thank you to Dandelion Acres for coming to see us!

Chet, known as “The Bread Man”, came to chat with us today. He has baked and given away over 140,000 loaves of bread over his adult lifetime. He talked about how even just a loaf of bread given away can inspire feelings of comfort and inspire kindness in others. The residents in attendance laughed and remembered as he told his “Bread time stories.” Everyone received their own loaf of bread today!

Happy 74th Anniversary to Ron and Luella! Residents, family and friends joined to wish this amazing couple well. This wonderful party was co-sponsored by the PEO (Philanthropic Education Organization). Luella is a founding member of the Canandaigua chapter. (Music is their wedding song!).

We celebrated Emmalie today! She is getting married this weekend and it was an opportunity to wish her and her fiancé well. There was Ed’s wonderful chocolate cake and mimosas - there was ice cream and Emmalie even agreed to open a couple of gifts! The rest she took home to open with Steve. We got a little carried away with the balloons-it was a good time! Congratulations!
