FYI-our troop will be presenting on the countries of Spain and Japan for our World Thinking Day activity. We are asking each girl to start this activity at home by researching the countries. We would like each girl to bring a fact about each country to our next meeting. Our focus is Girl Scouts in other countries, their food, dress, and culture.

The stuffed animals have been delivered! Our girls were able to collect about 8-10 garbage bags full of new or very gently used stuffed animals. Today, the donations were brought to Rome where they will be tagged by Stephen's Angels. and delivered to the children at Rome Hospital. The organizer was very happy to receive the generous donations. Great job girls!

The collection has begun!! Our Brownie Girl Scout Troop completes a community project every year. This year we have chosen to work with Stephen's Angels! We will be collecting very gently used stuffed animals as well as yarn, ribbon, white cardstock, buttons, and baggies. Our 2nd grade girls are hoping for a fabulous response so we can help Stephen's Angels help other children.

Just in... On Friday, Nov. 7th, Canstota GS Troops will be holding a "My Guy and Me Dance" at Peterboro Street School. This dance is open to reg. scouts and an adult male that is special to them. Admission will be $5 per couple. Snacks will be served. Please comment below or text Jessie-Jo Owens if you plan to attend. Thanks

Another trip has been planned!! On Sat. Nov 8th, we will be taking a troop trip to the Everson Museum in Syracuse. Mark your calendars!!

Information will be going out today for our field trip to Greater Lenox Ambulance Service on Oct. 25th. Also, information will be given for our stuffed animal collection for this year's community project. Be sure to get your forms.

Good news!!!! Our service project for this year has been pulled together! Our troop has expressed an interest in helping other children so this year we will be focusing on kids. We will be collecting and donating stuffed animals to give to children in the emergency room. More information will be coming soon!
