Our Story

My counseling approach embodies what you may already know deep down---that there is an untapped connection between your physical, mental-emotional, and spiritual health. I used to believe that pathology and dysfunction exist because of a severed connection between mind and body. But through my work with clients, it has become apparent to me that the connection is there, it just waits for you...to become aware of it; to develop and harness it’s power.

Because I believe that talking can only get us so far in the healing process, I offer Yoga Therapy and Mindfulness Coaching in addition to Individual Counseling sessions. I lead a weekly Mindfulness Meditation group at Yoga Riot in Sellwood on Thursday mornings. I see individual clients at my office in Cypress Beauty and Wellness in Sellwood.

The secret to healing is not in changing yourself. It is in discovering who you are and breathing fully into this reality with acceptance, compassionately holding all of your shadow and all of your light in your open hands.

Breathe, move, share, be still, repeat.
