Have you heard the news?! We’ve recently added Dr. Geovanny Vazquez to our team here at the clinic! 👏🏻

Dr. Geovanny Vazquez earned his Doctorate in Chiropractic from Palmer College of Chiropractic. Prior to going to Palmer, he played collegiate soccer and earned his Bachelor of Health and Human Kinetics from Warner Pacific University in Portland, Oregon. Dr. Vazquez has over 5+ years of experience working as a rehab specialist for Master’s Touch Chiropractic Clinic and also working as a certified personal trainer. Dr. Vazquez aspires to help each patient get out of pain, get moving well, and get back to doing what they need or love to do. Dr. Vazquez and his wife, Brandy, have two children. Mia (2years old) and Luca (5 months). His favorite hobbies currently are playing soccer, volleyball, and going to the park as a family. Dr. Vazquez is also fluent in Spanish.

Our clinic received sad news this past week. Dr. Daniel and Emily Huschka were expecting their 2nd daughter to join their family this summer. As they entered the 5th month of pregnancy, however, they found that she had passed away in utero. Please keep them in your prayers as they heal from this loss!

Meet Dr. Daniel Huschka! One of our new owners, along with his wife, Emily. Dr. Huschka has been practicing for the past 5 years. While he treats a variety of ailments at our clinic, he specializes in Perinatal and Pediatric care, with additional certifications from the ICPA.

Dr. Huschka is an Oregon native, and enjoys spending his time off with his 3 kids and wife. They are expecting their 4th child this summer.

You’ll find Dr. Huschka in the clinic most days of the week, but he treats patients on Tuesdays through Fridays.

Dr. Huschka was grateful for his time spent working alongside Dr. Hartwell, and looks forward to bringing the clinic into a new season!

Meet Dr. Sarah Vanselow! Dr. Sarah can be found at our clinic Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

“I enjoyed playing sports and being physically active as a kid. I first became interested in health and nutrition in high school, but I also enjoyed math and science and ended up pursuing my undergraduate education in mechanical engineering at Oregon State University. While I was in engineering school, I had the opportunity to take the introductory course for athletic training, and I loved it. I didn’t know how to put the two subjects together and decided to finish my engineering degree and go to work. Several years later I went to a Chiropractor for the first time for shoulder pain that would not resolve on its own. God used that experience to open my eyes to the opportunity to use my problem-solving skills and curiosity about how things work combined with my interest in health, nutrition, and physical activity to help people as a Chiropractor. After 12 years working as a mechanical engineer, I decided to go back to school and moved back to Oregon to attend University of Western States in Portland. I graduated in 2021 and am on a path of learning more about how all aspects of our health work together from mental and emotional health and stress to sleep and nutrition. I have a heart to listen to people’s stories, come along side to teach, equip, and help people to improve their health, and to see people be healed from the inside out. I believe each patient has unique needs and responds to treatment differently, so it is important to work cooperatively with each individual and use the tools I have available that best fit his or her needs. My last 6 months of clinical work for school focused largely on neck and low back pain with symptoms such as pain, numbness, tingling, or weakness that radiate down the arms or legs. I tend to have success with these types of conditions using a variety of hands-on treatments, exercises, and modifications to posture and movement.”

Exactly 35 years ago today, Dr. Jeff Hartwell's first day of practice as a Dr. of Chiropractic. Since that time he has dedicated himself to his patients in an exceptional way. Dr. Hartwell loves and cares deeply for his patients. I (his wife of 32 years) have often referred to him as a detective. He takes time to dig in, he likes the challenging cases that no one else can figure out, and gives 110% to find the root causes of symptoms. He's developed a large network of other professionals and doesn't hesitate to refer people out to them and to collaborate with other professionals when needed, whether those professionals are in mainstream or alternative medicine. Way to go Dr. Hartwell. This community has been blessed to have you serving them for 35 years!!!
