I have been studying the court cards – the most difficult cards to master. Court cards represent people or personalities or even a characteristic of the querent themselves. This is the Princess of Disks. She is first and foremost a kind and benevolent person. She is in touch with herself and nature. She is a very gentle person aligned with nature and maturity. As a result, sometimes when this card appears, we may be looking at someone who is expecting a child. She may also be pregnant with ideas, projects, or developing identity. The Princess is peaceful by nature but deals badly with conflict. There is a lot of sympathy for others and she has a huge source of strength and support to people who need it. She is on the brink of Transformation and Revelation. She may be exploring a new career, learning to manifest, or becoming more practical.

Adjustment is a stunning card that blows me away! She balances on the tip of a sword and juggles many balls in the air. She is perfect balance and she is all about karma. Formerly known as Justice, which implies punishment and negative consequences, Adjustment is about making changes to create harmony in our lives. She is the female partner to the Fool, and Crowley calls her “a woman satisfied.” Keywords for the Adjustment card include objectivity, clarity, balance, justice, karma, sober perception, and personal responsibility. “She is the dance, many-colored, many-wiled, of Life itself.”

I pulled the Queen of Swords as my daily card today, a happy choice because I identify strongly with this card. The keywords associated with the Queen of Swords are intelligence, wisdom, and resourcefulness. She is an expression of the ability to solve problems with the help of reason and the attainment of awareness without energy consumption. She has an abundance of ideas and the capability to capture them. The Queen of Swords can be very sensitive, perceptive, sharp-witted and intelligent. She represents independence, and freedom of mind and soul. Who wouldn't want her as a role model?

I got a new deck called the Millennium Thoth! It's still a Thoth deck, but the images are updated. Some of them I like very much, like the Knight of Wands portrayed here. I have been pulling this card daily for about a week, so I know I need to pay attention to it. It can mean a strong action oriented person, or swift sudden strong action needed or taken. At this point, I can be strong and plan to act strongly when needed!

I've been studying the Ace of Cups. It's a gorgeous card! The Ace of Cups shows us the Holy Grail drawing in energy and shooting it out throughout the universe. The Ace of Cups is love! The Queen of Cups is another of my favorite cards. You have to look carefully to see the Queen's face in the blinding light of the moon. This is a Cancer card, which is one reason I like it so much. She represents serenity, motherhood, empathy, passion and power. She is emotions and senses rather than intellect. She is my hero!
