Need a sweet treat this Easter?

My eldest son, Kale, is fundraising for Candor Elementary Band. They will be raising money towards their end of year trip to Seabreeze Amusement Park (student tickets, chaperone tickets, t-shirts, snacks) as well as other student materials associated with Candor Elementary Band and Chorus.

The results are in for the Candor Girls Basketball Club Shoot-a-thon!

Last Saturday, on the 14th, my daughter participated in the Candor Girls Basketball Club Shoot-a-thon. The varsity girls and four young ladies (5th, 4th, and 3rd grade) took their shot to see how they would fare with 100 foul shots. Finlay had been practicing and gave it her best shot… my little rockstar made 54 foul shots! 🏀⛹️‍♀️ not too shabby for this almost 9 year old. She has plans of making more the next time.

The last time I checked, the girls had raised beyond their goal which would not have been possible without everyone chipping in.

Calling all basketball lovers 🏀⛹️‍♀️

My daughter, Finlay, will be participating in a shoot-a-thon fundraiser for the Candor Girls Basketball. If you are interested in donating, below is the description about the fundraiser and what the donations are for.

About this fundraiser:
Our kids develop as much off the court as they do on the court. We believe this is because these incredible players have the awesome support from our families and community. The Candor Girls Basketball Club is holding a Shoot-a-thon to raise funds. Please know that no pledge amount is too small. Your ongoing backing and support of our players is truly appreciated.

On Saturday December 14th, each girl will shoot 100 free throws. You may donate per made shot or pledge a flat donation in the name of any girl, or to the program in general.

While individual players are being held responsible for donations by making free throws, all money will be shared collectively and impact every girl in the Candor Basketball program in grades K-12.

We look forward to an amazingly fun shoot-a-thon and thanks again!

Give Thanks Special

Through the month of November, clients will receive an automatic 20% discount on any session of 30 minutes or longer as part of my Give Thanks Special. The month of November is a special time of year for me personally as it is my birth month and has my favorite holiday. The season of thanksgiving is a time to reflect on the people and things we are grateful and thankful for. As a way of showing all of you how grateful I am to have you, I extend the Give Thanks Special.

Happy October! 🎃

What new things are happening in October…

- Candor will be having its annual Fall Festival from Friday, October 11th through Sunday, October 13th. There will be events around local businesses with certain things happening each day. I will be having hours of an open house style, to stop in to get your sugar scrubs, gift certificates and rocks/minerals. I will be having another local vendor set up with their rock/mineral items as well. Some of the items will be more in the “raw” form instead of being tumbled (where they are smooth or shaped in a particular fashion). Special hours will be Saturday, October 12th 1 pm until 6 pm and Sunday, October 13th 11 am until 3 pm. There will be a 10% discount on any gift certificate purchased during that weekend. These hours are not for appointments, stopping in at the shop only.
- Saturdays will continue to be by appointment only with no set hours. You will need to contact me directly to schedule on those days.
- Gua sha add in is now available as well. For more details on that, please reference website, under the massage and bodywork tab.
- I will have limited hours on Halloween. Happy Haunting! 👻
