For every Northeast Ohio mother who carries love in her heart for a child lost through miscarriage or stillbirth— this gift is for you. 💜

Ten years ago, my husband and I experienced the late miscarriage of our son — a life-altering event that led to profound grief and a feeling of invisible motherhood that few could understand. Over the span of that year, out of our grief came grace and hope — particularly by embracing that our son was fully happy and alive in heaven. Every Mother’s Day, my husband gifts me beautiful red roses to signify our children here on earth and white roses to remember those in heaven. 🌹

This month, I want to share these same “roses of hope” with other women in the community who have experienced loss. I’m gifting 25 FREE handmade gold white rose remembrance necklaces to local Northeast Ohio women — a gesture of solidarity, love, and remembrance for those who’ve experienced loss or wish to honor someone who has. The rose is reminder of the purity your little ones and the gem signifies their life kept close to your heart.

Eligibility for necklace:
• Must live within 30 miles of Canfield, Ohio (in order to build local solidarity with other women)
• One necklace per person and address
• Must have personally experienced loss, or intend to gift it to someone who has

It's with hearts full of joy that we welcomed our son Michael into the world on the afternoon of Monday, September 8th. I am so beyond grateful for this new gift of life to our family and also for the incredible care I received from of all the nurses, doctors, and staff working at St Elizabeth's Hospital in Boardman! We are recovering extraordinarily well.

Join me—during my own 22nd week of pregnancy!—for a fun, FREE, one-time only, exercise class where you’ll learn about and practice 10 essential core exercises for pregnancy designed to support your growing belly and changing body. Modifications to increase or decrease the intensity of most exercises will be provided, so the class will be suitable for every fitness level. These are safe, effective movements to use immediately throughout your pregnancy, instead of crunches or lying flat on your back—and can be used throughout all trimesters.

We'll be covering the postural and body changes that occur during pregnancy, red flags to watch for during exercise, and how to know when it’s time to modify certain movements. Then we’ll roll into 20–25 minutes of pregnancy-safe core movements and exercises. Stay after to enjoy some healthy refreshments and mingle with other local moms.

Led by Laura Calko, a Certified Pregnancy & Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist, Pelvic Floor Occupational Therapist, and owner of Calko Pelvic Rehabilitation & Wellness in Canfield, OH, this class blends expert guidance with real-life expecting mama experience. (also CPR certified)

I just want to take a moment to thank Mallori at Beauty Rituals for creating a beautiful space for me to treat clients in these past few years. If you ever need skincare, she's an amazing, ethical businesswoman and expert esthetician who truly listens to and cares about her clients.
