Our staff are encouraged to share victories and it is hard to keep up with so many accomplishments! Just this week, we had very successful group work throughout our Alternative Learning Program in Poland, a planned non-emergency visit from the Niles Fire Department and fine motor victories in Niles, and a wonderful share of a previously non-verbal child singing the Itsy Bitsy Spider in Canfield.

Medicaid is not just based on income, it is also based on disability status. When managed care organizations (MCOs) like in Ohio engage in these practices, people with disabilities are left untreated.

If you are on a waitlist for ABA with a medicaid plan, it is because Ohio Medicaid and MCOs need more people pointing out Ohio's ghost network for ABA. Contact us to get more information about advocating for behavioral health services for people with disabilities in Ohio.

A federal probe found that managed care plans often overstated how many mental health providers were in their networks with some providers saying they never had contracts with plans they were listed on.
