Let Go, Let God… and Let’s Play 🎭🌈

Today my kids reminded me (again) that play is non-negotiable.

Meanwhile, I’m over here clutching my to-do list like it’s the most important thing in the world. 😅

God’s like:
“Release, surrender, play.”

My nervous system’s like:
“But what if we organize the spice drawer one more time?”

My kids:
“Come outside and be a tiger, Mom.”

Me: … internal recalibration…

✨So here’s your holy reminder:

Sometimes the most sacred thing you can do is LAUGH.

Make a mess.
Build a pillow fort.
Eat the cookie.
Throw glitter in the air and call it a ceremony.

Your inner child is not impressed with your productivity.

She just wants to dance to 2000s pop and wear socks that don’t match. 🧦💃

Let go. Let God.

💥 Real talk, sacred woman-to-woman…

Why are so many of us burned out, bone-tired, and secretly stewing in resentment?

Because we’ve been taught to give everything to everyone else—
Our kids.
Our partners.
Our work.
Our healing clients.
Hell, even the houseplants. 🪴

But when it comes to OUR OWN needs?

Crickets.
Nothing.
Dead last on the list.

We gaslight ourselves with thoughts like “I’ll rest later” or “They need me more”…
until we’re running on empty and wondering why no one sees us.

The truth?
We’ve been living a culturally programmed martyrdom loop.
Where self-abandonment is mistaken for love.
And burnout becomes a badge of honor.

I’ve lived it.
I’ve unraveled it.
And I’ve helped others break free from it too.

Every Sunday, I slip into my sacred sanctuary:

🛀 a hot bath with Epsom salts,
🎶healing music humming in the background,
🔇and the outside world fading into silence.

No performing. ✨

This is where I go inward.

Where my body melts,

Are you seeking peace of mind, greater self-confidence, or more love in your life? I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Holistic Health Practitioner. My private practice is located in Savage, MN. I can accommodate sessions to fit your schedule.

I get to the heart of your needs through therapy, holistic skills, and effective use of time. I encourage you to explore yourself or relationships. You will find relief for that past trauma or old habits that talk therapy doesn't seem to resolve. I am passionate about helping others.

I am a Certified EMDR practitioner and a Usui Reiki Master since 2005. Reiki is a energy healing modality proven by the Center of Reiki Research and practiced at hospitals across the country. My practice bridges the gap between holistic practices and traditional talk therapy. As a Certified EMDR Therapist and have an in-depth understanding of the complex trauma. Everyone has it in themselves to heal.

EMDR is a therapy that cuts the time by getting directly to the roots of the issue. Holistic practices are available to help too.
