He believes community is about people uplifting one another. Whether he’s advocating for patients, helping break down stigmas around opioid use disorder, or connecting someone to the right resources, he shows up as a steady, familiar and friendly face. 😊

Gabriel says his biggest inspiration is his mother, who worked up to three jobs to support their family. That example continues to shape the way he shows up — for his patients, his team, and his community.

When he’s not working, you’ll find him fishing at the beach, exploring new cities and parks with his daughters, or cooking up something new in the kitchen. 🍳

The California Polytechnic State University (Cal Poly) AOD Teach-In was an opportunity to learn more about current drug trends on college campuses and what students need to stay safe.

Patient Navigator Cami Cloward joined conversations with campus partners, exploring ways to support students with the resources and guidance they may need. Connecting with communities like Cal Poly is an important part of our work and we are grateful to be a part of these conversations.

Out in Tehama County with PATH - Poor and the Homeless Tehama County Coalition, Patient Navigators Meghan and Nate spent time visiting local homeless camps, offering food, supplies and conversation.

These are our neighbors. Whether someone is ready today or months from now, we want them to know support is there when they need it. 💙

Today we celebrated Nurse Jane Davis - 25 years at Aegis and a 40-year nursing career that has changed countless lives!
