For Melissa, community means connection, support, and the understanding that we can offer each other something we can’t find alone.
She’s inspired by the resilience of the people she works with - meeting them where they are and supporting them through moments of transition and change.
What she loves most is the people.
Her team in Eureka and the Patient Navigators across the country - the people with huge hearts, creating something you can feel right away.
When it comes to community partners, it’s all about collaboration - real relationships, problem-solving in real time, and making sure people get connected to the care they need.
Outside of work, you’ll find her exploring - hiking, practicing yoga, and planning trips to places like the Trinity Alps and Yosemite.
Her mindset stays constant: “The best way out is always through.” 💙
