We are so excited that Abraxas Youth & Family Services has registered as a vendor for our conference this year!

Abraxas Youth & Family Services is a nonprofit provider of a diversified array of services to over 5,000 youth, adults and families each year. Founded in 1973, Abraxas offers alternative education, outpatient counseling, in-home services, shelter, detention, residential treatment and re-entry/transition services.

When it comes to mental health, small actions equal big impact.

If you are worried about your mental health or are worried about someone you know, there are resources and people out there who are willing to help, no matter what your situation is.

Talking about mental health helps promote acceptance and encourages people to seek help.

Whether we share resources, encourage others to seek help, or simply are there for someone when they need us, we instill hope and can help others to reach out when they need to most.

For the past 20 years, the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) has recognized Mental Health Awareness Month (MHAM) every May to increase awareness about the vital role mental health plays in our overall health and well-being.
