We’re committed to extending care beyond our facility, and our recent "Blessing Bags" initiative is a testament to that dedication.

Our team of caregivers volunteered to assemble approximately 200 essential care packages for our unhoused community members in Fremont County. These bags are filled with hygiene essentials and nutritional snacks, and will be distributed by the Cañon City Police Department and Fremont County Sheriff's Department.

We’re proud to partner with local law enforcement to support our community and create a healthier future for all.

The volunteers have filled about 200 bags with essential items for police to give out to people in need.

The spirit of giving and community support was truly on display as the CommonSpirit St. Thomas More Hospital Foundation celebrated its annual Yankton Benedictine Sisters Fund 2026 Grant Awards event.

We were so proud to award a total of $96,000 in grants to 19 incredible local organizations dedicated to improving lives right here in Fremont County. From keeping our community healthy and safe to educating and helping neighbors thrive, these organizations are truly extensions of a thriving legacy.
