Are you a pickleball fan? Dr. James Sferra is an AHN orthopaedic specialist who loves to play, but has noticed an increase in pickleball-related injuries on the court and in orthopaedic offices across AHN.

Tennis elbow, Achilles tendon ruptures, sprained ankles and broken wrists are some of the more common injuries AHN orthopaedic specialists are treating in pickleball players.

Interventional Cardiologist Dr. Dua and several Allegheny Health Network athletic trainers were honored to join the Chasing M's Foundation All-Star Weekend, prioritizing health and safety in youth sports and educating the community on sudden cardiac arrest. From high-energy games to CPR and AED training, it was a weekend full of youth empowerment, community impact and competitive fun. 🏈 💚
