2025: A Year of Service, Growth, and Community Partnership!
As 2025 comes to a close, Canonsburg Ambulance is taking a moment to reflect on a year filled with dedication, growth, and unwavering commitment to the health and safety of our communities.
This year was marked by exciting advancements and expanded capabilities. We were thrilled to extend our reach and welcome Donegal Township to the communities we proudly serve! While establishing a new base within Donegal Township, we also remained dedicated to maintaining and growing our strong relationships with all our existing communities, continuously striving to provide quality patient care and enhancing our services and support across every area. In January, we significantly upgraded our equipment by replacing our aging video laryngoscopes with brand new Glidescope Go 2's, enhancing our ability to manage airways with precision and efficiency. We proudly reintroduced Nitrous Oxide into our treatment capabilities, providing another important option for patient care and comfort.
Our engaged staff remains the cornerstone of everything we do, tirelessly working to ensure the safety and wellness of our patients and communities. Their dedication drives our mission forward.
Beyond emergency response, we believe in proactive community engagement:
• We were delighted to host and train scout troops, empowering the next generation with vital safety knowledge.
• Our certified instructors conducted CPR training sessions for community members, equipping more individuals with life-saving skills.
• We proudly participated in a mock accident drill and other emergency drills, honing our skills and strengthening collaboration for real-world emergencies
• We were honored to provide medical coverage and participate in a variety of beloved local events, ensuring the well-being of attendees. Some of these included:
• The festive Canonsburg 4th of July Celebration
• The iconic Washington County Agricultural Fair
• The exciting Pony League World Series
• The traditional West Alexander Fair
• The lively Houston Pumpkin Festival
• The spirited Oktoberfest
• The magical Canonsburg’s Old Fashioned Christmas
• You could also find our teams on the sidelines, providing support at high school football games and numerous other athletic events, ready to assist whenever needed.
• We were proud to standby and assist with fire trainings, reinforcing the strong partnerships within our emergency services network.
We are incredibly grateful for the trust and support of all our communities. We look forward to continuing to be strong partners in 2026, working together to ensure a healthy and safe environment for everyone.
