🌈 Group Collage: Textures and Togetherness

Tiny hands, soft materials, and shared imagination — our preschoolers worked side by side to create a group collage filled with color, texture, and calm.

As they layered paper, and found materials, the process became more than art — it became connection. A quiet rhythm of creativity and rest, woven together in community. 💛

🤝 Building Friendships in Preschool 🌿

In our preschool community, we see the heart of learning in the small moments — holding hands, sharing laughter, and chatting together as children explore side by side.

These early friendships represent meaningful milestones in building trust and empathy. As children connect through play, conversation, and cooperation, they’re developing the foundations for lifelong social–emotional growth.

Through shared experiences, our students learn to:

Each friendship begins with a simple moment — a smile, a shared idea, a hand to hold — and blossoms into the beautiful work of relationship-building that shapes their sense of self and connection to the world.

✨ Exploring Reflection and Fine Motor Strengthening

This week, our preschoolers engaged in a hands-on exploration of reflection, coordination, and fine motor skills through a thoughtful invitation to play.

Using tweezers to carefully pick up colorful pom poms and place them into assorted tubes, children practiced precision, focus, and hand–eye coordination. Mirrors added an element of reflection and discovery, inviting each child to observe themselves and their movements as they worked.

This activity nurtured:
🌱 Fine Motor Development — strengthening finger muscles and coordination for writing readiness
🌈 Concentration and Patience — building persistence through slow, careful actions
💡 Self-Awareness and Observation — encouraging children to notice how light, color, and reflection change their view

Each child approached the task in their own way — experimenting, reflecting, and celebrating success with joy and curiosity.

Rainy days are a unique sensory experience and the discovery of puddles heighten it. The feeling of splashing, the sound of the water, and the sight of each falling droplet offer excitement and stimulation.

Today is a fabulous day to enjoy a sensory experience in the rain, find a puddle and embrace a beautiful moment in nature.
