We are Apex Herbals, LLC, at Belden Village Mall! We are excited to announce that, in response to numerous customer requests, we've brought back the Gluten Free Apex Nook.

We will offer many gluten-free items, including all gluten-free wide-pan breads, buns, rolls, bagels, and pizza crusts; brownies, cupcakes, cookies, donuts, cobblers, muffins, and more to purchase. We will also have vegan and dairy-free options to choose from as well! It's a huge spread, folks, so things will probably go fast - get them while inventory lasts in our coolers to minimize waste! We will have seasonal items as we progress through the year!

Starting with a soft open this Friday, April 10th, at 11am, The Apex Gluten Free Nook will open inside Apex Herbals, which is located inside the Belden Village Mall food court, right next to Bright Now Dental and the Frulatti Smoothie place.

We are open any time the mall is open, but just in case:

Hello Everyone!
Today is a special day with it being April Fool's Day and all, but today is no joke. Five years ago today, Apex took its first steps in the retail world and opened its doors to the public. Since that day, Apex has expanded, grown, and changed in so many ways. We have grown in many different ways, in that we are no longer just an herb store - we are a health store. On our 5th Anniversary, we have taken a new stride in our future as we not only have top herbal products and customer service, but we also encompass just about everything needed to support natural health and spirituality. Talk about growth!

With that being said, on our 5th Anniversary, we have a HUGE surprise! We are reactivating a division of our store that we've been working on for a while now - THE APEX NOOK - is a part of the store where we have gluten-free foods such as breads, pastries, cookies, muffins, cinnamon rolls, brownies, etc. that people with gluten and/or dairy-free sensitivities can eat at the mall. We hear it all the time - parents bring their children, or even themselves, and ask if there is anywhere they can get a gluten-free cookie/brownie, or little Jennifer can't have milk because she has a bad allergy to it.

The Apex Nook was the answer as another option for providing options to those with those sensitivities. So, on April 10th, the Apex Nook will officially be opened and will be offering its goods within the Apex Herbals store in the Belden Village Mall next to the Bright Now Dental. The Apex Nook will always carry Monday - Sunday all gluten-free breads, buns, rolls, etc., and Fridays-Sundays from 11-4, we will have our pastry and dessert offerings like a farmer's market setup for you to purchase the various options. A lot is going into this, and we are so excited to bring this to Belden Village Mall!

During a routine stop at the Dog Warden to drop off CHEWY gift cards for adoptees, I witnessed a young male come into the warden and surrender his dog. Poor thing couldn't understand why his master was leaving him behind in such a place. So, in talking with management, Skylar is his name now, and we are bringing him into our socials as an add-on. Typically, we only spotlight 3 at a time, but Skylar's situation hit home today at the Warden and he is now part of the group.

Needless to say, Skylar needs a good forever home! He's a medium-sized pup and has some amazing markings! If you adopt Skylar or any of the pups at our socials, you get a $30 CHEWY gift card to get supplies, and additionally, bring your receipt to Apex Herbals at Belden Village Mall and get an adoption starter kit courtesy of the crew at Apex Herbals, full of bowls, treats, food, toys, and more.

Today was a big day for Apex Herbals and the pups at the Stark County Dog Warden! Apex Herbals made a nice supply run of food and cleaning supplies, but most of all, we brought boxes and bags of brand new toys for all of the pups to enjoy while they are there. We purchased big rhinos, to chew toys, to chickens, to smaller toys to keep them busy. We even got to meet Irwin again in person, but he was ever so happy to receive his very own chew rhino from Apex Herbals’ founder Mikele Ketchem. We hope it’s a sign of good luck that his rhino will help him standout and get adopted? We hope it does!

Starting Monday 3/30, dogs that we showcase and place on our socials, and are adopted, will now get a FREE $30 Chewy gift card when you pay your adoption fee at the Stark Dog Warden. In addition, once you pay the adoption fee, bring your receipt to Apex Herbals at Belden Village Mall and get another FREE starter adoption kit that has food, toys, bowls, and treats to get your pup acclimated quickly and calmly into your family. It’s our way of saying thank you in helping give your pup a new safe and healthy forever home.

We thank our customers for making a lot of this happen in tips and roundups at the register. Your donations at work! We don’t take a dime of any donations as 100% of donations are given to the pups. It’s our sustainability promise.

Hello to all of our Apex Herbals followers, fans, family & friends:
It's been a while since our last post on our pup situation! We at Apex were delighted to hear that Clyde was adopted since his new adoptive parents came in to get their FREE adoption kit from us which included bowls, toys, treats and more just for helping us help the Stark County Dog Warden get these pups adopted!

Ok, so here is the current lineup since Clyde was adopted, we are helping the Dog Warden by putting "Shannon" on our socials to help get her adopted! We still have Irwin and Tyler on our socials but need to get all 3 adopted ASAP! Apex is proud to state that we help in the financial assistance of their adoption fees as well as food and supply runs. We take sale roundups and we match the donations to help in these efforts!

To help sweeten the adoption deal: Every pup that we feature on our social media that gets adopted - just come to Apex Herbals at Belden Village Mall and show us your receipt of adoption, and we will give the new adoptive family a totally FREE starter adoption kit to help you and your new furry friend get acclimated in their new environment quickly.
