Want to know why I left the medical world to open Heavily Meditated Wellness 3 years ago?
Because when you know better, you can do better.
I know this is a long one, but it's a big one.
Educating clients on how they can help prevent chronic conditions and how to help maintain their quality of life is what I've spent years studying, researching, and how I've spent every minute of my nursing career.
Teaching lifestyle changes that can cost nothing (or next to nothing) that aren't shared by the mainstream because they don't create revenue - that's where I fit in.
I'd rather live humbly and know that I'm genuinely helping people, then be a part of a system that makes endless money by keeping people sick and subscribed to a disease process.
๐คท๐ผโโ๏ธ Helping the WHOLE person and looking at the WHOLE picture for each person is HOLISTIC care. It's LITERALLY the foundation of my nursing education.
I worked too hard to become a nurse, to become certified in multiple specialties, to become board certified, and to remain true to my core values to go against all of that to fit into the mainstream "Healthcare" system.
The system isn't broken. It's working exactly how it was designed. It's a business. And it's goal isn't to help you get better or to regain your health.
I love questions.
I love when clients come in and I can help them on their journey to finding answers. I don't gatekeep information, and I don't want anyone to feel ashamed of what they don't know or feel silly for asking questions.
No judgment. Just genuine care and a safe place to ask.
Right here in Western North Carolina.
I hope those that need to see this find their way to it.
