This week, I expanded my pediatric career toolbox by earning my Level C DMI certification. Since starting DMI, I’ve seen its principles significantly improve my patients’ gross motor and neurological development, and I’m excited to continue building on that foundation. The Level C course helped me deepen my understanding and fine-tune exercises I had previously struggled with.
DMI recently added a third day focused entirely on lab work, and it was absolutely worth it. Although I wasn’t sure I could step away from the clinic for three days, I’m so glad I did!. I was able to return to the clinic the very next day and begin using the new exercises (see last picture). Unlike past courses, I left feeling confident with ALL of the exercises and felt this course tied all the levels together cohesively. While I still have much to learn, I feel more confident in my skills after completing this course.

Just kidding!!! We love all the kids art work. Our little friends work so hard to get their hands to do these fun projects and Sam does such a great job staying in season! We love seeing them around the clinic.
I just couldn’t help myself when I saw this little turkey! He was just asking for this song and a reel to be made!!!

We had the cutest little bee visit us this week, and I’m not gonna lie— I almost teared up from how adorable she is! Seriously, look at those tiny wings! 🐝💛
Parents, if you’d like to let your kids wear their costumes to their BeKids Pediatric Therapy appointment this week to get the most out of those Halloween outfits, feel free to do so! We’d love to see them all dressed up! But, if it feels like too much or if you don’t celebrate Halloween, no worries at all—we totally get it.
We’ve got a Mad Science themed week ahead with tons of fun activities planned each day. It’s going to be so awesome, your kids will be begging to come to therapy every day! After all our goal is to “let them 🐝 kids! “

Tickets are still available for our Zoothing Boo at the Zoo on Saturday, Oct. 25 at 10 a.m. We'll open early for Boo at the Zoo for anyone with different abilities who doesn't like crowds or loud noises. Majority of our Ultimate Fall Fest activities will be available during this hour, such as trick-or-treating and the games. Purchase tickets at https://www.akronzoo.org/zoothing-boo-at-the-zoo.

Tickets are separate from Boo at the Zoo general admission tickets. A limited number of tickets are available.
