We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Elara Caring Hospice for treating our veterans to a wonderful Olive Garden lunch!

While a few of our veterans were unable to attend, those who joined truly enjoyed the delicious meal, great company, and time spent together. We are so grateful for your kindness and support in making our veterans feel so special.

Each year, the Board of Elections visits The Gables of canton to provide our residents with the opportunity to vote early onsite. In preparation for this year’s voting, we were pleased to welcome Mimi from the League of Women Voters. She reviewed the sample ballots provided by the Board of Elections, explained the different primary ballot types including issue-only ballots and answered questions from our residents. She also shared helpful resources for researching candidates online, allowing everyone to feel more informed and confident about their voting decisions.

We spent the day baking brownies, and it was more than just mixing ingredients it was smiles, laughter, shared memories, and a little love in every stir.
