Another new year and you know what that means - another art journal!! This year I found a planner for $3 at Target! Yeah, the pages are super thin, but when the paint is applied, they have a texture like leaves.
So the idea is to paint the pages and make a little doodle or jot down an idea, intention, or wisdom from each day of the week. Do I remember to do this every day? Heck no! But each year I start again with the same intention - to provide a space for myself to express myself.
I don’t make New Year’s resolutions, but I generally have a theme for each year. Last year, it was, “To thine own self be true.” This year, I want to continue with that theme and also focus on *reciprocity* - the mutual exchange of energy - in all of my relationships and work.
