Still reeling over the outpouring of love and support received last week for Captain's 103rd birthday! It's remarkable what can be done when we all come together to celebrate this 3x war veteran and family man. We just had to share a few of the videos that made it extra special! While we are still going to respect his in-person NASCAR visitor's privacy, Captain also got a video from NASCAR Driver Ty Dillon AND 3x NASCAR Cup Series Champion and Planet Fitness member Joey Logano !!! To say his day was made, would be an understatement!

Yesterday, our hearts were full as we celebrated the remarkable 103rd birthday of our dear Captain Levinge. The day was nothing short of extraordinary, thanks to the abundant number of individuals, organizations, and community partners who rallied together to honor our hero in grand style.

We tried something new at The Retreat at Canton—tabletop shuffleboard! It takes a steady hand, a bit of strategy, and just the right amount of smack talk to master. Our residents dove right in, and let’s just say… the competition got real. The ladies absolutely dominated the game! We’re excited to add this fun and challenging activity to our regular lineup. Yesterday, we had the honor of celebrating a truly remarkable milestone—The Captain’s 103rd birthday! Surrounded by family, staff, and friends, we shared a beautiful afternoon filled with joy and gratitude. Chaplain Michael from Trinity Hospice joined us during lunch and sang some of The Captain’s favorite hymns, adding a heartfelt and meaningful touch to the celebration. It was a special day for a very special man. Happy Birthday, Captain—we’re so grateful to celebrate you!
