We’re excited to kick off our **monthly Dementia Support Group** for members of our local community.

Morgan Matte with Appalachian Hospice will be providing helpful education and resources.

Families are welcome to **bring their loved one living with dementia** to attend together.

We made it through Winter Storm Fern! Despite the cold outside, it was a warm and wonderful weekend at The Retreat at Canton, filled with comfort, connection, and care. Our residents and staff enjoyed Willie’s fried chicken for lunch, while Shanin brought smiles by calling Bingo and leading Bible Study. There was also time for homemade chocolate chip cookies with Natalie, our Executive Director, meaningful conversations, and shared moments that made the days special. Throughout it all, our dedicated care staff ensured every need was met, and morale stayed high. We’re grateful for our community and proud of the way everyone came together!

We’re hanging out and ready for the storm ❄️Driveways and sidewalks have been treated with salt, and our morning shift staff have stayed on site. Residents enjoyed quiche for dinner, and all is well.
