We had a truly special visit at The Retreat at Canton as the Holly Springs Elementary School Choir came to entertain our residents. Their voices were beautiful, but even more meaningful was the kindness and love they shared. After a lovely performance, the students took the time to speak with and hug each resident, creating heartfelt moments that made everyone’s day. We are so grateful for this wonderful group of students and the joy they brought into our community and we can't wait for their next visit!

We had some extra fun with our residents this April Fools’ Day. We introduced everyone to our “newest resident,” Mabel, and welcomed her into the community. Little did they know, Mabel was actually Renea in disguise. The big reveal brought plenty of laughs and smiles, making it a day full of joy and lighthearted fun for everyone.

Our residents spent time baking delicious coffee cake muffins, and our wonderful Memory Care ladies delivered them to our local firefighters. It was a meaningful way to give back and share a little appreciation with those who serve our community every day. Phoenix is proud to support and connect with the communities we call home.

We had a wonderful time celebrating National Cocktail Day at The Retreat at Canton with a special cocktail tasting event. Residents sampled eight different cocktails, ranging from Spiked Pink Lemonade to Bloody Marys, and had a great time trying each classic concoction. We had a blast rocking out with our friends from The Phoenix at Union Hill last week for Happy Hour. Fred was on the piano, the energy was high, and we danced away the afternoon. Couldn’t have asked for a better time. Already looking forward to the next one!
