Thank you, Esther and Earl, for gracing us with beautiful spiritual music for the holidays. Our Assisted Living and Memory Care communities came together to enjoy the sweet sounds and share in a moment of praise. We even discovered that two of our residents are first cousins living right here in the community. And of course, no concert would be complete without our cuddly companion.

Thank you to the Lyndon Academy Advanced Band and Lower Choir and their Band Director, Michelle Koenig, for making our spirits bright with beautiful holiday music and thoughtful cards for our residents. The students filled our community with wonderful seasonal songs and then personally delivered heartfelt cards to each resident. Every student was gracious, cheerful, and exceptionally well-behaved. We can’t wait to welcome them back to The Retreat at Canton again!

It’s easy to get into the Christmas spirit when Alan and David are singing everyone’s favorite holiday songs and bringing the energy with guitar and violin played to a rock beat. Our community was truly jamming holiday style!

The Retreat at Canton is brighter and more beautiful than ever with the arrival of stunning poinsettias donated by the Creekview Baseball Team and sponsored by Burger Inn in Woodstock, GA. We are grateful for your generosity and for adding such vibrant color to our community. Thank you for the gorgeous flowers!

Chick-fil-A Day at The Retreat at Canton! Our residents and staff were treated to a free and delicious lunch thanks to the generous team at Chick-fil-A on Hickory Flat Highway. Everyone enjoyed chicken sandwiches, chips, cookies, and drinks—courtesy of Chick-fil-A and General Manager Alex Gomez. This special day began with the kindness of our dedicated volunteers, Gail and Steve Rooks, members of Rising Hills Church, who had been saving their Chick-fil-A reward points to treat our residents to an early Christmas surprise. When Alex, a close friend of the Rooks and General Manager of the Hickory Flat location, heard about their plan, he insisted on donating the entire meal. To make the day even more memorable, he delivered the lunch personally while dressed as the Chick-fil-A cow. Our residents had a wonderful time taking photos and enjoying the fun atmosphere. A sincere thank you to Steve and Gail Rooks, Alex Gomez, and the outstanding staff at the Hickory Flat Chick-fil-A for making today so special.
