We had an egg‑cellent Easter celebration this year, complete with our 5th annual Easter egg hunt! The Easter Bunny delivered over 1,000 prize‑filled eggs, which were hidden in and around all things TWi - and everyone was invited to join the fun. 🐣🐰

Twice a month our team from the Canton Causeway visits Refuge of Hope to assist with sorting clothing donations.

Volunteering is a powerful way to build confidence, practice job skills, and give back to the community we live in! 💪❤️

A small group from TWi West had an amazing time visiting Einstein Bros. Bagels! The group got a behind‑the‑scenes look at how the shop runs and even learned how to make their very own sandwiches.

From choosing ingredients to assembling their creations, everyone jumped in with enthusiasm, and the results were delicious! It was a great hands‑on experience that blended learning, teamwork, and a whole lot of fun.

We love seeing our folks explore new skills out in the community!

Our seniors group at TWi West has proudly completed their latest service project - building a beautifully crafted wooden toy train. With teamwork, creativity, and a whole lot of heart, the group worked together from start to finish, sanding, assembling, and painting each piece with care.

This week, the finished toy train was donated to a child in the Canton Local School System, bringing joy to a young student and showcasing the meaningful impact our participants make in the community. We are incredibly proud of their hard work, generosity, and dedication to giving back.

🌟 March is Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month! 🌟

Today we celebrated inclusion, community, and the incredible folks who make our world brighter with a little extra sweetness from the Kona Ice truck! 🍧💙

There’s something special about watching everyone come together, share a treat, and enjoy a moment of connection. Celebrations like this remind us how important it is to create spaces where every person feels valued, supported, and included.

Here’s to awareness, acceptance, and plenty of colorful shaved ice to go around. 💛💚🧡

Meet Drake! 👋

Drake has faced significant challenges in his life. Yet, despite these obstacles, he has maintained an unwavering passion for becoming a mechanic.

Recently, Drake had the incredible opportunity to immerse himself in the world of mechanics at Liberty Ford. It was a transformative experience for him, as he observed the intricate workings of a mechanic’s role. He eagerly learned about the technician’s responsibilities and the operating mechanisms of the vehicles themselves.

The sparkle in Drake’s eyes when he discusses his dream of being a mechanic is contagious. His enthusiasm is evident, reflecting a deep-rooted love for the trade. He possesses a strong foundation of knowledge, and it’s clear that his heart lies within this field.

During his hands-on experience, Drake actively participated by checking the air filters of various cars and attentively monitoring the process as oil changes took place. He was particularly fascinated when he watched a technician replace the motor in a Ford Focus, absorbing every detail of the process.

Drake's journey is truly inspiring, and it’s a joy to witness his dedication and excitement for mechanics shine through.
