What an incredible evening for mental health in Stark County! 💙
On May 19th, NAMI Stark County held a community fundraiser hosted by Main Street Bank, and we are still overwhelmed by the kindness and generosity shown by our community.
A very special thank you goes to JD Haavisto and JD's Gourmet HOT DOGS & More , who donated back 100% of the proceeds from hot dog sales to NAMI Stark County. Thanks to JD’s generosity, community donations, and support from our sponsors, we raised $1,713 to support free mental health education, advocacy, and support programs right here in Northeast Ohio.
Huge thanks as well to:
• LP3
• Laurie Nash & Main Street Bank Corp.
• John Allensworth
• Junior Vega & Vega's Intl. Entertainment
• And every single person who stopped by, donated, shared a laugh, or supported our mission.
For a small nonprofit doing important work, this kind of community support means everything. Thank you for showing up for mental health.

Sometimes what makes the biggest difference is talking to someone who truly understands what you’re going through.

The NAMI Family Caregiver HelpLine connects caregivers with trained volunteers who have caregiving experience themselves.

They understand the questions, the responsibility, and the care it takes to support a loved one — and they’re here to listen, share, and help you find your next step.
