Today is Red Cross Giving Day ❤️

On Red Cross Giving Day, we recognize the incredible work of the American Red Cross and the lifesaving support they provide to individuals and families impacted by disasters every day.

From house fires and severe storms to national emergencies, the American Red Cross is there when people need help the most—providing shelter, meals, supplies, and hope during some of life’s most difficult moments.

🍀🥧 Double the fun at My Community Health Center! 🥧🍀

We’ve been celebrating all week long! Yesterday, our team enjoyed some delicious treats for Pi Day (3.14) with a variety of pies shared across the center. Today, we kept the festivities going with a festive St. Patrick’s Day potluck! 🌈💚

From sweet to savory, our staff brought in amazing dishes and plenty of Irish cheer. Events like these remind us how special our MCHC family truly is—coming together, sharing laughs, and building connections beyond the workplace.

Over the years, nutrition guidance has truly flipped the script. We’ve moved beyond the old food pyramid model that focused heavily on quantities and servings, and now the emphasis is on mindful eating, balance, and quality over quantity.
