Well deserved, Manny! 👏🔥 Your hard work, dedication, and commitment to serving the community truly show. Proud to have you representing StationAid, this is just the beginning! 🚒😎
Service is at the heart of everything we do because strong communities are built by people who show up for others, day in and day out.
That’s why we’re proud to share that Sgt. Manny Zapeta of Cherokee County Fire & Emergency Services has been named Firefighter of the Year by Thomas M. Brady American Legion Post 45.
Sgt. Zapeta was recognized by Post Commander Raymond Rollins and National Commander Dan Wiley, who visited Post 45 during his tour of Georgia. Commander Wiley travels across the country to listen to veterans and stay connected to the communities they continue to serve, making this recognition even more meaningful.
His leadership, professionalism, and commitment to others reflect the very best of our mission and the values we stand for. As Fire Chief Eddie Robinson shared, Sgt. Zapeta represents the very best of our community.
We’re grateful to The American Legion, the nation’s largest veterans organization, for continuing to recognize those who serve beyond themselves.
Join us in congratulating Sgt. Zapeta on this well-deserved honor.
