It is springtime clean up at Morley Cemetery. I am asking all lot owners to clean their lots of old flowers and debris. Do not throw anything over the fence, please take you stuff with you. We will also be having a workday in the cemetery: time and date will be determined by the board members. Thank you.

Morley Cemetery Association is looking for a lawn care professional to mow the Morley Cemetery for next year 2026. Also looking for a grave digger. Any information would helpful. Thank you

I am calling a special Lot Owners Meeting on Oct 20, 2025, at 6:00pm at the Morley Library for voting of the Board Members. We have 3 people that wants to be on the board. Please come to the meeting, get to know them and also vote. Thank you

Morley Cemetery Assocation looking for board members. We need Vic President, Treasurer & Secretary. Please if you can help, please do so. We don't want Morley Cemetery to go to the town of Canton. (which only mows 2 times a year). We only have 2 meeting a year, one with the board and one in the Fall for lot owners, and/or if there something important that needs to be addressed. New water tank has been placed at the cemetery, Thank you 😊
Also please trim up around your head stones if needed.

The water spout is now working in the little building😊

We are looking for someone who is able or knows someone who could trim up a large branch that is over hanging some headstones on the back section of cemetery, would probably need a bucket truck or some sort of lift.
Also we ask that if you have any shrubs or trees on you lots please assess them for over growth, they can not be coving the head stones, so trim if needed or if you need them removed please let us know.
There are some potted plants that are tipped over or blowing around due to no water, best to place them into the ground, makes it difficult for the mower to mow around them.

Happy Spring Everyone🌷
Friendly reminder:
Please remember to take your trash with you after you visit your loved ones.
1) Due to a spring clean up
trash cans are full of old wreaths, faded flowers, broken trinkets,etc. Until I can get the trash man to pick up.
2) You do not own behind your headstones, the cemetery owns that spot, so if you plant there, no guarantee they won't get mowed down.
3) please be considerate of the gentlemen that mows for us, these areas are not your personal flower beds, there are rules and regulations of what can and can not be placed at the headstones. No trees,bushes, preferably no planters barried into the ground. He has to maneuver around all of this.
4) do not throw your trash over the fence, the Morley cemetery does not own that property.

JUST A THOUGHT 🤔
would you take your trash
and throw it in your loved ones yard ???

🍁🍂Fall clean up again !
6 extremely large bags of trash and 2 trash cans bagged up .
Someone has to mow around this garbage.... and It looks disgusting even if its piled up behind a storage building, people drive around there. And can see it.
DO NOT leave your Dead flower & containers, faded arrangements, broken decor. Even food containers and papers 🤷🏾‍♀️)

And if your local and have left fake flowers or pots of flowers or decor.. with your loved ones, can you please pick them up ☝ and take them with you before snow comes. Less stuff blowing around for someone else to pick up in the SPRING.

Thank You, Joshua Hunter for taking on the Job of Mowing for the Morley Cemetery! It looks Awesome! Joshua spent several hours W**d trimming, mowing and blowing off the head stones. Definitely showing he takes pride in his work. Thank you.
