Nothing beats this moment.
The residents karaoke afternoon turned magical when they switched the playlist to the songs these residents actually grew up with — the music from their youth.
Suddenly the room came alive. Voices that haven’t sung in years belted out the lyrics like they were back at in the good old days.
They weren’t just listening… they were remembering. Laughing. Feeling young again.
There’s something so beautiful about watching someone’s eyes light up when they hear “their song” one more time.
Music really is the closest thing we have to a time machine. ❤️
