Job Opening:
The Medical Office Support position shall be responsible for ensuring proper checkout of the patient that is optimally managed in order that their healthcare might be delivered with maximum efficiency. Strong organizational and public relations skills will be utilized in-order to see that the entire patient process consistently aligns with our corporate policies and procedures.
Essential Duties:
Coordinate patient flow at check out, ensuring efficient and effective continuity.
Collecting co-payments, co-insurance, deductibles, and/or outstanding balances
Responsible for processing referrals according to pre-established office procedures insurance eligibility
Coordinate patient and non-patient inquiries and requests
Serve as a patient advocate, by utilizing courteous and professional telephone etiquette at all times, by answering the telephone promptly, reflecting a positive tone and speaking distinctly with poise, tact and assurance while assuring patient confidentiality is protected.
Scanning of medical records, insurance cards, demographics into the EMR in a timely manner, paying close attention to detail.
Other jobs as assigned by the office manager.
Demonstrate exceptional customer service and interact effectively with providers, patients, care givers, staff, and visitors.
Full Time. Currently needing Monday thru Thursday, from 9-6 and Fridays 8-5.
