Final Exam Time!!!!!
With all that I knew, studied and memorized I still was so scared to actually go take the test. I took alot more time than I should have, I knew the material but was so afraid to fail!!! I fought with myself on numerous occasions thinking I just needed more time, just another week, and then another and another! Finally i just signed up for the test and had an actual date!!
This exam is in person, there is no online version available, so that in itself is pretty intimidating!! Adding to the fact that I had to drive to tampa to actually take it, I took a few days off of work and drove up there by myself, so I had complete solidarity, nothing to side track me, studied even more and hoped for the best!!! I got a great night's sleep, ate a good breakfast and of course reviewed everything I ever wrote down.
Driving to the campus that morning was somthing I will never forget, I was so out of my comfort zone, in a completly different part of Florida and all alone, which never ever happens by the way! Just my thoughts and I, this was an ENORMOUS step for me because I had been doing the same thing day in, day out for 4 plus years and I finally decided to go for my dream of owning and operating my very own Assisted Living Facility!!! I threw up 3 times that morning, but told myself just get through it, you can do this, your going to be fine!!
I took the test and felt so relieved!!!! But then, realized that I had to wait for the test results to come in the mail 3 to 4 weeks!
Overall this experience had changed me already, and there was so much more to come, so much room to grow and learn!
