Safety isn’t something we think.
It’s something the body learns.

When we are very young, we rely on others to help us feel safe.

And when that doesn’t happen consistently,
the body learns something else.

It learns to stay activated.
To stay alert.
To hold what never got completed.

So when something shows up later in life—
anxiety, tension, overwhelm—

it’s not random.

It’s the body asking for something
it didn’t receive.
