Allied is celebrating its 20th anniversary this month! We are so grateful to the Southwest Florida community that has been trusting us to get them back to what they love for two decades! Don't forget – we are celebrating with a Birthday Toy Drive! We are collecting new, unwrapped toys appropriate for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years to benefit Child Care of Southwest Florida. 🧸🚂🪁🪀⚽️ Toys may be dropped off weekdays between 8 am and 4 pm at our clinic located at 1469 SW 4th Terrace in Cape Coral, near the intersection of Pine Island Road and Chiquita Blvd. We look forward to many more years of serving our community!

This month, we offer a Best of Wellness Connection video featuring our own Dr. Melissa Harkness, who explains what to expect with Pelvic Floor therapy, a unique form of physical therapy targeting the muscles of the pelvis. This therapy can be very successful in the treatment of conditions such as incontinence, pelvic pain and sexual dysfunction for both men and women. Our rehab technicians are amazing! They are all aspiring to become physical therapists. Today, Garrett, at left, received an acceptance from the University of Saint Augustine's Miami campus where he will begin his pursuit of a DPT degree in January! We are all thrilled for him. Alex, at right, is next. He is working on this application now and will soon be headed off to school as well. Join us and congratulating Garrett!! 🎉

Our Keiser student, Lian, presented an in-service to our team on how to improve balance and strength with elements from boxing. This program is designed for those with Parkinson’s disease. There is so much benefit to movement with purpose!!! 🥊
