Golisano Children’s Hospital of Southwest Florida offers free monthly autism spectrum disorder screenings for toddlers 18 months to 5 years of age. Early diagnosis can make a vast difference for toddlers and their families.

📅 Upcoming screenings: January 9 & January 14 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Screenings are conducted by an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse with specialized training in child development. No physician referral is required.

All of us at Family Initiative are incredibly excited to announce a special new initiative for our organization! We are launching FI Faith Nights hosted on Wednesday evenings as a gathering for autism families and anyone else who wants to join for prayer, worship, community, and a brief inspirational message from the Bible. Parents will have the option of having their children join them in the main gathering or to drop their children off at Thrive Academy for special activities.

This program will kickoff with Christmas Faith Night on December 10th. Join us for a night focused on how God never wants us on the outside looking in, and how the Christmas story highlights the good news that we can all experience a loving relationship with God and the benefits that this brings.
