Mitch’s Pathways to Peace workshop had such a positive response that we’re hosting it again! Join us on October 5th from 4-5:30 PM as we share restorative yoga poses, music, yoga nidra, meditation, breath work, and more for all who wish to find greater peace and calm in their lives. Come and learn more about how to relax using yoga and meditation. Yoga: Pathways to Peace is open to all, even those who have never done yoga before.

Monday and Wednesday: 5:45pm Yoga/Pilates Fusion; Tuesday: 9:30 All Levels Flow, 10:45 Gentle and 12 noon Pilates; Thursday: 9:30 All Levels Flow. Twice a month: Yin/Yoga Nidra at 1pm, followed by Reiki & Singing Bowls workshop at 4pm. 

Credentials:
200 hours in Sivananda, Blue Collar Flow, and Baptiste. Certified in Mat Pilates since 2000; upgraded to Bender Ball Pilates in 2006, after birth of first child. Certified personal trainer since 1999. Holistic Health Coach, Reiki Master and Emotion/Body Code practitioner. Available for private sessions, including energy sessions for pets.🙏❤️

Favorite Pose:
Cow/cat into downward dog first thing in the morning.

🧘🏻‍♀️Bachelors of Science in Exercise Science
🧘🏻‍♀️American College of Sports Medicine-Exercise Physiologist
🧘🏻‍♀️Aerial Yoga certified, and chair yoga certified
🧘🏻‍♀️Pilates certified
🧘🏻‍♀️Ayurvedic Enthusiast, working towards a Ayurvedic Practitioner Certificate.
🧘🏻‍♀️Twenty Years experience teaching to various populations and over 10 years teaching yoga.

Teaching Style:
My favorite style to teach is both Vinyasa Flow and Yin Yoga. They are exact opposite and I am one to always strive for the Yin/ Yang in life as most of us do. I love helping people through the various poses in a vinyasa flow; I love to mix up and make a challenge too. In Yin Yoga, I feel as though this can so meditative as this a deeper way that you can get to know thyself by relaxing more in the mind and taking the journey inward on a deeper level.

Favorite Pose:
Cow Face Pose—I love this pose because it can be done with different variations ( as all poses can) however, I love how this can really open up through the chest as well as through the hips. Most people are very tight through the hips and chest area and that can lead to back problems. Most of the time we over compensate and continue to stretch through our back when we are tight when really it is finding the balance of having the front and back body both stretched equally. It always feels good when one can especially stretch through our hips.
