It’s Black Breastfeeding Week 2025!

This year’s theme is “Boots on the Ground; Rooted in Breastfeeding Success, Grounded in Community Support.”

Since 2014, Black Breastfeeding Week has shined a light on the unique cultural barriers, lack of diversity in the lactation field, and the high Black infant mortality rate. It also celebrates the incredible strength and community leadership that continues to uplift and empower Black families on their infant feeding journeys.

At Lactation Whisperer, we believe representation and equity in care matter. Together, we can continue building systems of support that ensure every parent has access to skilled, compassionate infant feeding help.
