Interesting research article talking about the potential therapeutic effects of THCV. It is a minor cannabinoid with big potential and the research is starting to come through to support it. In this study, it was administered with CBD, which is part of the synergistic effects of cannabinoids and their therapeutic benefits!

Checked out the Cannadelic event today up in St. Pete after seeing them advertising educational panels offered throughout the day. On one hand, I applaud their attempts to incorporate educational components to the recreational vibe of the event… but it was a little light in content and I would’ve liked to have seen some science added to it. It mentally reinforced my pathway of staying in the medical lane moving forward.

This video is so accurate! All cannabis products are not created equal and people/patients should educate themselves before going into a dispensary, so you do not end up “leaning in the corner thinking you are a glass of orange juice”!

We lost a great one today. In my career I have been incredibly blessed to have had the opportunity to interact with different two icons leading their professions in chiropractic and cannabis science respectively. Learning under the dynamic mentorship of Dr. Sid Williams through chiropractic college was priceless. It established the philosophy and foundation that has carried me through the past 25 years of my career. Dr. Raphael Mechoulam was the Father of Cannabis, being the first to discover the THC molecule found in cannabis as well as discovering the first endocannabinoid created within our bodies. He was always willing to answer the endless questions as students threw at him with both patience and what seemed like limitless knowledge. In the world of cannabis, he will forever be considered a legend and missed greatly.

Last month I read about weed-fed chickens, now it is “CannaHoney” produced by honeybees feasting on cannabis nectar. I get so excited reading about these innovative techniques combining cannabis and farming. Momentum is building but cannabis education and research are two missing key components needed to move it forward!
