Today we enjoyed a group activity called Bounce Around the Circle. We gathered in a circle and passed, bounced, and tossed the ball from person to person. It was simple, fun, and engaging for everyone.

We also had music playing that was really jamming, which helped lift the energy and keep everyone motivated and involved.

It was a great time of laughter, movement, and togetherness where everyone was involved and sharing in the joy of the activity.

We started our morning with Becky, Cheryl, and Anne. Thank you for coming in and making our morning beautiful, as always. We began with Psalms 37:1–8, sharing a peaceful and uplifting message.

Then we enjoyed a fun spring craft, creating little flower bags decorated with flowers. To top it all off, we were treated to delicious cookies what a lovely surprise.

Thank you to Dora and Elizabeth for coming in and sharing a beautiful butterfly story. 🦋 And thank you, Lee Story Library, for the visit.

We learned about the monarch butterfly, its connection to the milkweed plant, and how its bright wings help protect it from predators.

We had an absolute blast today with Katie’s drum circle! Between the loud music, fun rhythms, happy noise, and everyone becoming professional musicians for the day, it was a joy-filled time for all. Today we spent a really special time celebrating Earth Day together. We did a fun little art activity where we colored and used soft tissue paper rolled into tiny balls. Everyone gently glued them onto their sheets to build the Earth green for the land and blue for the water.

It was such a sweet and calming moment. Each person created their own beautiful version in their own unique way, and you could really see how much they enjoyed it. There was laughter, focus, and pride in their work. A simple activity, but full of meaning, creativity, and togetherness.

We are Cape Corals premier senior day center. Our goal is to provide our seniors a safe place during the day where they can socialize with their peers. We offer meaningful cognitive and physical activities all day long. Our staff is trained and knowledgeable in all phases of senior care including memory impairments.
