Last week, Southeast Behavioral Hospital was honored to participate in the Hunger Action Month Resource Fair and Mobile Food Pantry, hosted by SEMO Food Bank. This event was about more than providing food, it was about offering hope, support and connections to ensure families don’t have to face challenges alone.

We were proud to stand alongside 28 partner organizations in serving more than 200 families. Our Liaison, Katherine, was grateful for the opportunity to connect with our community and share vital resources that promote both mental health and overall well-being.

Southeast Behavioral Hospital was proud to sponsor and participate in the Illuminating Hope Glow Walk in support of su***de prevention. Our team was honored to walk alongside families, share resources and hand out glow wands to brighten the night, standing in solidarity with all those impacted by su***de.

Most importantly, we hope our presence reminded everyone that no one walks alone. ***dePreventionAwarenessMonth

PHP vs. IOP — What’s the Difference?

Understanding the levels of care in mental health treatment is key to finding the right support. Our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) offers structured, daytime treatment for individuals requiring intensive support, while our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) provides a more flexible, part-time approach to therapy. Each program is designed to meet different needs on the path to recovery.

On September 10, we were honored to participate in the Maryland Heights “Beads of Hope” event! Our Community Liaison, Missy, joined others in creating bracelets for su***de prevention, with all proceeds benefiting the CHADS Coalition for Mental Health (Communities Healing Adolescent Depression and Su***de).

This meaningful event was both a reminder and a call to action: every effort, big or small, helps raise awareness and bring hope to those impacted by su***de. Together, we can make a difference.
